I discovered osteopathy as a new mum when I hurt my neck lifting a pushchair out of my car. My stiff and painful neck made it difficult for me to manage my young baby and following a friend’s recommendation, I sought help from an osteopath. I left the treatment with a neck that moved again, mostly pain-free. This experience of osteopathy, a holistic therapy that works with the body’s inherent ability to heal, created the impetus for me to study osteopathy so that I could help others regain and maintain wellness.
I graduated from Unitec with a Bachelor of Applied Science, followed by a Masters in Osteopathy, achieved with honours. I have also completed training with the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation.
I enjoy treating all ages, from heads to toes.I previously taught yoga and I draw on this experience to offer clients self-management skills to complement treatment benefits.
My partner and I have two teenage daughters. I enjoy travelling, walking in nature and sunny days will find me in the garden.
